Graphic Organizers

Graphic organizers are tools that help children organize their ideas and thoughts.  We use graphic organizers after reading stories to aid children with comprehension.  We also use graphic organizers as a pre-writing strategy to organize our thoughts before starting a new story.  Graphic organizers can also be used in science and social studies to narrow the focus of study.
