The high school is now connected to the One Call Now message notification system. This process will enable us to communicate important information to all families in a timely and expedient manner. You will shortly begin receiving messages regarding school delays or cancellations, emergency early dismissals, and general information that all families should have access to. It is our assumption that all families will participate. However, if you would prefer not to receive these calls there is an easy process for opting out of the program. When you receive the first message there will be instructions for how to remove your number from the list.

With the One Call Now system, each student may have up to 6 unique phone numbers associated with their names. Currently, the home phone number which we have in our data base has been used to create the original roster. This phone number is also designated as the primary phone number to use for all calls. Additional numbers are used only for emergency situations. I would like to suggest that the phone numbers associated with your student include:

• Home phone/land line
• Mother’s cell phone
• Father’s cell phone
• Student’s cell phone
• Mother’s work phone (only if it is direct dial as the system can’t do extensions)
• Father’s work phone (only if it is direct dial as the system cannot do extensions)
  

You may choose other numbers such as an emergency contact number – grandparent, neighbor, etc. However, there can only be a total of 6 numbers per student.

To add these additional numbers, please log onto the Thompson Public Schools website and click on Tourtellotte Memorial High School. Once on the high school page, there will be a link for the “Family Profile.” You will be able to add your numbers through this secure website.

In addition to phone messages, the One Call Now system has the ability to send email alerts. If you would like to receive information through your email, you will be able to add your email address at the same “Family Profile” link.  Each student may have up to 3 email addresses linked to their name. I would like to suggest that the emails associated with your student include:

• Mother’s emaiL
• Father’s email
• Student’s email
